Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities, assignments, and materials under the supervising teacher to reinforce instructional objectives.
• Assist students with severe disabilities in completing instructional tasks and daily living activities.
• Provide health-related assistance and personal care for students as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor students during classroom and school activities to support safety and behavioral goals.
• Participate in IEP goal implementation and instructional plans.
• Maintain instructional materials and records required for program documentation.
• Observe and document student progress and communicate with staff.
• Attend meetings and trainings related to special education services.
• Participate in IEP meetings to support student goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
