Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a part-time Special Education Teacher to support K-8th grade students across two sites, totaling 25 hours weekly. You will partner with multidisciplinary teams to tailor instruction to diverse learners and collaborate with families to implement effective IEP-driven interventions.

You will adapt instructional approaches, monitor progress, and ensure classroom practices meet district standards.

Qualifications

• Active PEL license with School Social Worker endorsement is required.
• Experience in special education settings with varied student needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff and families.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple caseloads across sites.
• Willingness to work at more than one location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, appropriate instruction based on IEP goals and student needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, documenting growth and challenges.
• Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families.
• Employ evidence-based classroom and behavior management techniques.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and district standards.
