Job summary

PediStaff is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in the Brooklyn Park, Minnesota area. This part-time opportunity focuses on developing IEPs, adapting instruction, and collaborating with school teams to foster academic, social, and emotional growth.

Ideal candidates hold Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education licenses and bring strong collaboration, communication, and case management skills to a supportive onsite environment for K–5 students.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required.
• Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota licenses will be considered.
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for K–5.
• Adapt curriculum and materials to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction for diverse learners.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting.
• Use data to guide instruction and support growth.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement behavior supports and interventions as needed.
