Responsibilities

• Assist students in physical tasks and reinforce instructional content.
• Work with small groups to reinforce material under supervision.
• Maintain supportive relationships and report progress to teachers.
• Operate and care for equipment used in instruction.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, field trips and activities.
• Serve as information source for substitutes in the absence of the teacher.
• Assist with distribution of materials and record-keeping.
