Job summary

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part Time Special Education Instructor to provide one-to-one instruction for grades 1–12 in Scottsdale. The role emphasizes individualized teaching with the supplied curriculum, focusing on student progress and success under the IEP framework.

Ideal candidates hold a Special Education degree and bring a passion for teaching children with ASD, ED, or SLD. The position offers a flexible schedule and minimal administrative duties, with a focus on effective student

$25/hour

The special education teacher would use the provided curriculum (APEX Learning) and provide the accommodations and modifications necessary based on the IEP in order for the student to be successful. The ideal candidate will have experience working in ASD, ED and/or SLD programs. We have a case manager that will handle the bulk of administrative duties, we really need someone who can focus on the individual in the classroom.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree and Special Education experience
