Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required in a relevant field.
• Valid Texas School Counselor Certificate or LSSP license.
• Experience with students with behavioral or emotional needs.
• Knowledge of ARD/IEP processes and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling as a related service for students in Special Education.
• Assess and support behavior plans (FBA/BIP) and related strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and district staff to implement supports.
• Assist with ARD committees and IEP goal setting and monitoring.
