Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Valid South Carolina School Counselor Certification.
• 3–5 years of successful school counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services for students in special education.
• Support emotional regulation, social skills, self-advocacy, coping strategies, and peer relationships.
• Utilize evidence-based counseling practices to address social-emotional and behavioral concerns.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Serve on IEP teams and assist in identifying needs and developing goals and supports.
• Provide data and recommendations on social, emotional, and behavioral functioning; ensure compliance with requirements.
