Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools is seeking an Excel Tutoring Tutor to support elementary literacy or math skills after school. You will work with a consistent small group of up to four students, using district-approved materials.

The role also involves collaboration with the Lead Tutor to review student data, plan sessions, and monitor progress, with paid preparation time and instructional support. This is a part-time position during Fall 2026.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure in one of the approved areas (Elementary, Early Childhood, English/ESL, Math, Reading Specialist, or Moderate Disabilities).
• Experience providing academic support to students below grade level.
• Priority given to regularly appointed CPS educators.

Responsibilities
