TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based role in Cherokee, Oklahoma. The position involves direct therapy, screeners, progress monitoring, and collaboration with district staff and the SLP supervisor.

Ideal candidates have an ASHA-certified SLPA credential, state licensure where required, and comfort working with students in a school setting. The role offers on-site hours with district support and a structured schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution.
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required.
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA, where required.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in use of technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students and conduct screeners.
• Monitor progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents).
• Direct therapy, consultation, planning, and collaboration with SLP supervisor.
• Manageable caseloads and documentation time.
