Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a dynamic school setting. You will implement speech and language therapy plans under supervision, collect progress data, and adapt activities to meet diverse student needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with SLPs and other educational staff, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for professional growth within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active SLPA licensure required in the state.
• School-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to implement therapy plans under supervision of a licensed SLP.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to students in individual or small groups as outlined in IEPs.
• Assist with implementing treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs.
• Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare materials and adapt activities to meet diverse student needs.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with the educational team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and school standards.
