Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Cherokee, Oklahoma. The SLPA will provide therapy services to students, conduct screeners, monitor progress, and collaborate with therapists, educators, and parents.

The role requires SLPA certification, state licensure where required, and a defensible ability to work with children in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant where required
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA where required
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students
• Conduct screeners and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators and parents
• Documentation and planning time as required
