Job summary
A rehabilitation therapy provider is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for locations including McAlester, Ada, Prague, and Atoka, OK. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP, assist with patient assessments, and engage with patients and families. Qualified candidates should have an Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a Bachelor’s in a related field, along with supervised clinical experience. Qualifications
An Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders is required.
Minimum of 100 hours supervised clinical experience under a licensed SLP is necessary.
Licensure application through the Oklahoma Board is required.
Responsibilities
Implement programs as directed by the supervising SLP.
Assist SLP with screenings and treatment of patients.
Communicate with patients, families, and team members.
Assist in daily operations of the department.
