Job summary

Nevada State University invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty to teach in the Speech‑Pathology Program. Courses may be in-person, online, or hybrid and cover undergraduate or graduate material, including disorders, audiology, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech‑Language & Hearing Sciences, or related field.
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC).
• Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring students.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate content using authentic examples and differentiate instruction.
• Scaffold instruction with prompts and cues using diverse resources.
• Present content online and in person, and assess student progress.
• Demonstrate commitment to planning and preparation of courses.
• Maintain exemplary writing skills for observation reports.
