Part Time Instructor - Ed.S. School Psychology Graduate Program

Nevada State University invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in‑person, online or hybrid courses in School Psychology for the Ed.S. School Psychology graduate program.

Applications will be considered on an as‑needed basis determined by course availability.

Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Each of the Ed.S. courses is a 3‑credit‑hour course.

Required Qualifications

• Ed.S. or Master’s Degree in School Psychology.
• Minimum of three (3) years full‑time experience working with children in PK‑12 as a credentialed school psychologist.
• Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching/leadership, educational excellence, and mentoring.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
• Commitment to active learning and teaching strategies.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment‑related visas).

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in school psychology or related area (special education, educational leadership, etc.).
• Previous teaching experience in higher education.
• Previous experience supervising a school psychology practicum student or intern.
• Experience in web‑based coursework.
• Credentialed as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist through NASP.
