Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in home health settings in Anderson, South Carolina.

You will provide aural rehabilitation for the hearing impaired and AAC solutions, while meeting licensure requirements and collaborating with a care team. This role offers flexible, part-time work with meaningful patient impact.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with relevant practicum experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and AAC support for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
