Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat adults in home health settings. You will address speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders, and provide AAC support as needed.

Eligible clinicians hold current state licensure, CCC-SLP, CPR, and prefer 1+ year of experience. Flexible scheduling, competitive benefits, and a patient-centered work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP with graduate coursework and clinical practicum in an accredited program.
• CPR certification is required to perform duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
