The Behavioral Neuroscience Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Penn State College of Medicine is recruiting two part‑time Sleep Research Technologists to conduct sleep studies in research participants/patients with opioid use disorder. Primary responsibilities include applying and monitoring polysomnography measures (EEG, blood oxygenation, heart rate, respiration), maintaining protocol integrity, and communicating effectively with the research team.
Work Hours
Part‑time, PRN. Travel to Caron Treatment Center in Wernersville, PA. No overnight monitoring. Schedules align with participant availability (Monday–Sunday, 8 p.m.–12 a.m.), typically 4 hours per patient. Hourly compensation includes travel time; no separate travel expense reimbursement.
