Job summary

FMC Ice Sports in Massachusetts is seeking Junior Instructors to support Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, and figure skating programs under the supervision of program Supervisors. You will help groups, assist lessons, and deliver safe, enjoyable ice activities for children and adults.

Most programs run in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. A skating proficiency is required; ISI Freestyle 3 or USFS Freeskate 3 is preferred for older skaters. You must be 16 or older to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to ice skate proficiently.
• Experience teaching or assisting skating classes preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, and figure skating programs under supervision.
• Interact with children and adults and support program hours.
• Enforce rink policies and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and complete assigned tasks.
