Job summary

Facility Management Corporation, operating as FMC Ice Sports, is seeking Junior Instructors to assist Learn to Skate and related programs at public arenas in Massachusetts. The role is part-time, with programs mostly in the afternoon, evenings, and weekends.

Applicants should be comfortable skating and working with both children and adults, under supervision of a program lead. Compensation ranges from $16 to $22 per hour, with a training rate of $16–$20 and a higher base pay after training.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting or teaching skating classes preferred.
• Applicants must be able to ice skate proficiently.
• Must be 16 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with skating lessons and program hours.
• Interact with children and adults.
• Enforce rink rules and ensure safety.
• Support lead instructors and program supervisors.
• Attend staff meetings.
