Job summary

FMC Ice Sports in Natick, MA is seeking a part-time Junior Instructor to support Learn to Skate, Learn to Play and figure skating programs under supervision. You will assist groups, interact with participants, and help instructors deliver lessons.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, can skate proficiently, and have interest in ice sports. Previous teaching experience is a plus; all offers are contingent on background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age to apply.
• Proficient ice skating skills; figure skaters should have ISI Freestyle 3 or USFS Freeskate 3.
• Hockey players should have multiple years of league play.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and manage customer interactions.
• Educate the public on safe ice activities.
• Enforce rink policies and operating procedures.
• Follow policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the Program Supervisor or Instructor promptly.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings.
• Perform any other related or similar duty as assigned.
