Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time - Site Access in Savannah, GA. You will provide customer service, patrol the facility, monitor access points, and support badge-related processes while using computer systems to document activities.

This role emphasizes a visible presence, safety, and compliance within a retail distribution setting. The position offers part-time hours with a daytime schedule and opportunities to earn through flexible shift selection and our Shift Claim

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor activity, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site policy.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
