Job summary

George Fox University’s College of Nursing is seeking a Simulation Operations Specialist to support the logistical operations of the simulation lab. The part-time role offers up to 18 hours per week during the 9-month academic year (Aug 15–May 15) and begins September 2026 on the Newberg campus.

The SOS will help prepare, implement, and deliver SBEs for the BSN program. The ideal candidate has healthcare or simulation experience, strong AV/IT skills, teamwork, and meticulous organizational

Responsibilities

• Assist with audiovisual setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Prepare, operate, and store simulation lab equipment and supplies.
• Set up IT equipment and troubleshoot lab technology.
• Manage stock and ensure consumables and equipment are available.
• Support data collection and evaluation for SBEs.
• Prepare realism with moulage and scenario setup.
• Collaborate with the simulation team to support learning experiences.
