Collin College seeks a Part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide interpreting and transliterating services for staff meetings, labs, and campus activities in Plano, TX. You will manage a regular service schedule and support the ASL Lab, coordinating interpreting interns and coordinating with site supervisors to ensure access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and staff.

• Current BEI certification or national equivalent.
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and signing proficiency.
• Ability to interpret and transliterate in academic settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide interpreting/transliterating services for staff, labs, and campus events.
• Maintain a regular interpreting schedule and dispatch assignments as needed.
• Coordinate placement of interpreting interns and supervise lab activities.
• Serve as liaison between College, interns, and site supervisors.
