Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a Part-Time Simulator Second in Command to support recurrent, initial, and generic training programs at our Wichita location. You will serve as a competent Second-in-Command for multi-crew flights where no flying partner is available, without performing instructional duties.

The role requires maintaining active pilot qualifications, staying current with required certificates and ratings, and adapting to changing schedules while delivering professional customer

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Excellent cockpit verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with customers professionally.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
• A second language may be required in some Learning Centers.

Responsibilities

• Act as Second-in-Command (SIC) for clients training in multi-crew aircraft who have come to training without a flying partner.
• Maintain SIC pilot qualification in accordance with program requirements.
• Maintain SIC qualification in FlightSafety International's QMS processes and procedures.
• Keep current all certificates, ratings and designations required to perform duties as an SIC.
• Act as SIC in various types of aircraft for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients as required.
