Job summary

York College of Pennsylvania is seeking part-time Shuttle Bus Drivers to operate college-owned buses on weekdays, typically 12-4 pm during academic sessions. The role covers transport between Main, West and North Campuses, with occasional weekend events.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 23 years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Prior driving experience is preferred and a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform special driving assignments and drive the shuttle to service stations for oil changes and repairs 2.5%.
• Perform other duties as assigned 2.5%.

Position Summary

Part Time Shuttle Bus Drivers are responsible for drivingcollege-owned vehicles as a routine function. They run Mondaythrough Friday, the shift currently available is 12-4pm duringacademic sessions only, with occasional weekends for specialevents. Drivers will provide shuttle bus services for studentstraveling back and forth from to/from Main, West, and NorthCampuses.

OUTCOME

Students are delivered safely to and from Main, West and NorthCampuses.

Essential Functions

• Transport students back and forth to/from Main, West and NorthCampuses 85%
• Check bus for cleanliness and fuel at the end of each shift;clean and refuel as necessary 10%
• Perform special driving assignments and drive the shuttle toservice stations for oil changes and repairs 2.5%
• Perform other duties as assigned 2.5%

Experience and Education Required

• Six (6) months professional driving experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must pass a DOT required physical
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record isrequired
