Job summary

Misericordia University is seeking a reliable Campus Shuttle Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for students, faculty, staff and visitors across campus and designated off‑campus locations. This part‑time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle.
• Previous driving or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent schedule.
• Commitment to providing a safe and positive experience for all passengers.
• Must be able to pass a background check and driver record screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate University shuttle vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and University policies.
• Transport passengers along established routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and orderly shuttle environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed, including individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedule changes, delays, or incidents.
• Adhere to all University safety and risk management guidelines.
