Job summary

Famous Footwear is looking for a Sales Associate who is passionate about shoes and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will help customers find the perfect fit, maintain a welcoming store environment, and stay informed on the latest trends while representing the Famous Footwear brands.

You will collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals, participate in training, and contribute to a positive store culture that keeps customers coming back.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff and customers.
• Clear, positive communication with store associates at all levels.
• Demonstrates independent judgment while partnering with Store Sales Manager.
• Strong working knowledge of retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team and flexible scheduling including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily store tasks: pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory to keep the store organized.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and embody Famous culture to wow customers.
• Analyze store performance and drive sales with urgency to meet goals.
• Adhere to company policies and seek feedback for professional growth.
• Foster an inclusive, positive work environment and assist with training when needed.
• Act as a shoe expert to recommend the best fits and styles for customers.
