Job summary

CVS Health in Surf City, NC is seeking a part-time Shift Supervisor to support store management in execution and performance, and to foster customer loyalty through excellent service.

When no manager is onsite, you will lead staff, complete opening/closing procedures, and ensure smooth store operations while maintaining confidentiality and a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of a manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise the store's crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities; communicate with management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; uphold CVS customer service culture and confidentiality.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays and inventory for promotions and seasonal merchandise; reset departments per planograms.
