Job summary

Café Yumm! Happy Valley in Oregon seeks a part-time Restaurant Shift Leader to guide a diverse team across all stations and ensure fast, friendly service in our Happy Valley location.

You will train staff, oversee opening/closing, manage cash, and uphold our mission of healthy, sustainable food. A valid Oregon Food Handler Permit and ServSafe certification are preferred; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess “can do” attitude.
• Arrive on time for each shift.
• Proficient in customer service.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Sufficient command of English to operate POS and read/order sheets.

Responsibilities

• Train others on all restaurant stations: cashier, deluxe bar, dishwasher, expeditor, food prep, grill/salads, starts/hot bar.
• Provide service that is remarkable, memorable, and informative.
• Count registers and ensure money is accurate.
• Follow procedures to ensure opening and closing are done properly.
• Direct and motivate Team Members to achieve operational excellence.
