Family Service League Of Suffolk County, Inc. in Smithtown seeks a part-time Driver to transport clients in an agency vehicle to appointments and to meet basic needs. The driver coordinates weekly food donation pickups and maintains vehicle safety and logs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; NYS driver’s license and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Transport clients to appointments in an agency vehicle.
• Coordinate with partner agencies to pick up donations weekly.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain logs.
• Ensure vehicle registrations and insurance are up to date.
• Uphold safety belts and child car-seat policies.
• Contribute to team meetings and trainings as required.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA protocols.
• Report safety issues to the Assistant Program Director.
• Other duties as assigned.
