Job summary

Uftring Chevrolet, Inc. in Pekin, IL is seeking a Part-Time Porter to help move and shuttle vehicles, park and organize the service lane, and support the service team while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Starting pay is $15.50 per hour with Monday–Friday hours 12:00 pm–5:30 pm and rotating Saturdays. Benefits include PTO after year one, a 401(k) plan, and employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid IL driver's license.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and other contacts.
• Professional, neat personal appearance.
• Good understanding of the Peoria Metro Area streets and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Help process the overnight drop vehicles.
• Install temporary floor mats, seat covers, and tag keys.
• Move and park vehicles.
• Maintain communication with the service staff.
• Operate shuttles to homes and businesses as a back-up, when needed.

The Part-Time Porter is responsible for driving vehicles to and from the service lane and parking lot, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic throughout the service department while maintaining a positive customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday: 12:00 pm until 5:30 pm
• Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 am until 12:00 pm
