Job summary

The Uftring Auto Group in Peoria, IL is hiring a part-time Porter to help move vehicles, park them, and keep the service area flowing smoothly. The role also involves minor tasks like installing temporary floor mats and assisting with shuttle runs to customers’ homes or businesses.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and other contacts.
• Professional, neat personal appearance.
• Good understanding of the Peoria Metro Area streets and businesses.

The Part-Time Porter is responsible for driving vehicles to and from the service lane and parking lot, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic throughout the service department while maintaining a positive customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help process the overnight drop vehicles.
• Install temporary floor mats, seat covers, and tag keys.
• Move and park vehicles.
• Maintain communication with the service staff.
• Operate shuttles to homes and businesses as a back-up, when needed.

QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS:
