Job summary

Uftring Auto Group in East Peoria, IL is hiring a Part-Time Porter to help move vehicles, shuttle customers, and keep the service lane flowing. The role supports the service department with a focus on customer experience and traffic flow.

You will work Monday through Friday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, earn $17.00 per hour starting pay, and have access to PTO after year, 401(k) eligibility, and employee vehicle/service discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid IL driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Professional appearance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles to and from service lane and lot.
• Assist with processing overnight drop vehicles.
• Move and park vehicles in designated areas.
• Operate shuttles to homes/businesses as needed.
• Maintain communication with service staff.

The Part-Time Porter is responsible for driving vehicles to and from the service lane and parking lot, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic throughout the service department while maintaining a positive customer experience.

PAY BEGINS AT $17.00 PER HOUR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help process the overnight drop vehicles.
• Install temporary floor mats, seat covers, and tag keys.
• Move and park vehicles.
• Maintain communication with the service staff.
• Operate shuttles to homes and businesses as a back-up, when needed.

QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS:

• Must possess a valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and other contacts.
• Professional, neat personal appearance.
• Good understanding of the Peoria Metro Area streets and businesses.

• Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm
