Job summary

Uftring Auto Group in Peoria, IL is seeking a Part-Time Porter to help move and park vehicles, shuttle between the service lane and parking lot, and ensure smooth traffic flow while preserving a positive customer experience.

The role offers a part-time schedule Monday through Friday 12:00 pm–5:00 pm, room for advancement, PTO in first year, a 401(k) plan, and employee vehicle/parts/service discounts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and other contacts.
• Professional, neat personal appearance.
• Good understanding of the Peoria Metro Area streets and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Help process the overnight drop vehicles.
• Move and park vehicles.
• Maintain communication with the service staff.
• Operate shuttles to homes and businesses as a back-up, when needed.

The Part-Time Porter is responsible for driving vehicles to and from the service lane and parking lot, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic throughout the service department while maintaining a positive customer experience.

PAY BEGINS AT $17.00 PER HOUR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help process the overnight drop vehicles.
• Install temporary floor mats, seat covers, and tag keys.
• Move and park vehicles.
• Maintain communication with the service staff.
• Operate shuttles to homes and businesses as a back-up, when needed.

QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS:

• Must possess a valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to communicate well verbally with customers and other contacts.

• Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
