Job summary

McGrath Chevrolet of Dubuque is seeking a Part-Time Automotive Service Porter / Valet with a 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule. No dealership experience required, ideal for drivers or customer-facing professionals who enjoy an active role.

You will support the service department by moving vehicles, assisting technicians, and maintaining an orderly service drive. The position offers daytime hours and a chance to gain dealership experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work the 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule.
• Friendly and professional customer service skills.
• Comfortable safely driving, parking, and maneuvering a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Comfortable staying active throughout the shift.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
• Safely move, park, stage, and retrieve customer vehicles.
• Shuttle customers to and from McGrath Chevrolet of Dubuque as needed.
• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments.
• Assist Service Advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and service lane organization.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive and vehicle staging area.
• Support the service department with additional porter, valet, driving, and lot responsibilities as needed.

With a 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule, this position is a great fit for someone looking for morning or daytime hours while keeping their afternoons and evenings available.

You don't need previous dealership experience. This role could be a great fit for someone with experience as a driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, valet, porter, lot attendant, customer service representative, or other customer-facing position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys driving and interacting with people, and prefers an active job over sitting behind a desk all day.

Requirements
