McGrath Chevrolet of Dubuque in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Part-Time Service Department Assistant/Valet (Licensed Required) for daytime hours from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This role supports the service department by greeting customers, moving and parking vehicles, and assisting technicians.

With a salary range of $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, the position offers flexibility for mornings and afternoons. Previous dealership experience is not required, and candidates with driving or customer service

Responsibilities

• Assist service staff with vehicle movement and service lane organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized service drive and staging area.
• Support porter, valet, driving, and lot responsibilities as needed.

With a 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule, this position is a great fit for someone looking for morning or daytime hours while keeping their afternoons and evenings available.

You don't need previous dealership experience. This role could be a great fit for someone with experience as a driver, shuttle driver, delivery driver, valet, porter, lot attendant, customer service representative, or other customer-facing position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys driving and interacting with people, and prefers an active job over sitting behind a desk all day.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work the 7:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Comfortable safely driving, parking, and maneuvering a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Comfortable staying active throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Previous driving, valet, porter, lot attendant, shuttle, delivery, or customer service experience preferred, but not required

• Support the service department with additional porter, valet, driving, and lot responsibilities as needed
