Job summary

Segovia, operated by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a part-time Server to provide friendly, courteous dining service for residents, families, and visitors. The role supports the dining area and kitchen, with the goal of enhancing the customer experience and upholding the community’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Ensure proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
