Job summary

Oakmont of Torrance, operated by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Server to provide friendly, courteous dining service in our senior living community. Training will be provided for those new to the role, with emphasis on resident-centered care and high standards of service.

The position offers shifts Tue, Thu, Fri 1:30pm–8:00pm, with a pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more as part of our supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 16 years old with work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into the POS system accurately.
• Set up and break down bus tables as needed.
• Follow proper serving etiquette and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff and residents, and assist teamwork across departments.
