Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our senior living communities in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role emphasizes resident satisfaction, accurate order taking, and maintaining clean dining areas with strict food safety practices.

You will work 18–29 hours per week, with pay starting at $15–$16.50 per hour and must have Food Handler Certification. Previous assisted living dining experience is desirable and 18+ with proper permits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in restaurant operations or the ability to learn.
• Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals to residents, family members and guests.
• Uphold high table etiquette and reset tables for subsequent service.
• Engage with residents to assist with meal choices and dining needs.
• Review dietary needs and preferences as outlined by the Supervisor and care plan.
• Track resident meal attendance and communicate safety checks for absent residents.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and seating residents, including new arrivals.
