Job summary

Omni Austin Hotel Downtown is seeking a part-time Server for our Capital A Restaurant. You will deliver prompt, friendly, and accurate service to guests in a vibrant downtown setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume environment; you will work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth service flow. Training and growth opportunities are available within Omni.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume setting.
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC certifications (or willing to obtain on hire).
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, prompt service in Capital A Restaurant.
• Take orders, answer questions, and suggest menu items and daily specials.
• Record orders in MICROS and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain table settings and restaurant cleanliness; ensure guest satisfaction.
