Omni Austin Hotel Downtown in Austin, TX is seeking a Pool Server for Cloud Bar. The position delivers prompt, friendly service at the rooftop pool, handling beverage orders with accuracy and a smile. This role is for a part-time, seasonal schedule and requires knowledge of cocktails and wines, plus the ability to upsell menu items.

You will maintain bar stock, assist with setup, ensure guest safety, and uphold Omni's high standard of hospitality in a dynamic, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers and TABC certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs+ and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of fine dining service.
• Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
• Put away storeroom supplies.
• Reset tables as needed.
• Perform duties assigned by restaurant manager.
• Serve drinks and ensure timely service to guests and servers.
• Have knowledge of liquors, beers and wines.
• Upsell and suggestively sell food and beverages.
• Restock bar with essentials and equipment.
• Monitor the dining room environment (temperature, lighting, music).
• Comply with liquor liability laws and check IDs.
