Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Server to create joyful dining experiences for residents. You’ll work with a collaborative team, respond to feedback, and contribute to a caring community environment.

No prior work experience is required, and you will assist in both Casual and Fine Dining settings. Must be at least 14 years old, communicate in English, and be able to obtain required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Collaborative team player who responds thoughtfully to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining, carrying trays, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Greet tables warmly, guide menu selections, accurately take orders, and serve courses from beverages to desserts.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, refill water carafes, and set tables before meals.
• Help keep the dining room clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning areas, and performing cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor.
• Jump in and assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
