Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Portland, OR is seeking a Part-time Server to deliver meals and provide friendly, attentive dining service for residents. Position is up to 25 hours per week with weekend/holiday availability and pay DOE.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, must be 18+, background clearances, health screening, and a TB test. Strong English communication, teamwork, and ability to operate serving equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, including spoken and written English.
• Must be 18 years or older or have work permit.
• Basic counting skills for meals/residents.
• Ability to operate standard serving equipment.
• Must pass background clearances and health screening including TB test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dining service by taking orders and serving meals professionally.
• Uphold etiquette and reset tables between courses.
• Assist residents with meal selections and dietary needs.
• Suggest friendly, attentive service to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain sanitary dining areas and proper food handling.
