Job summary

StoneRidge in Mystic, CT is seeking a part-time Server to provide courteous table service in community dining rooms and support event setups. The role includes taking orders, serving residents, and accurately entering orders into the POS system. Flexible days with 4pm-8pm shifts and pay starting at $17.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
• Ability to interpret and explain menus, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service processes, and understand special requests.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers.
• Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
• Correctly enters orders into the POS system while charging the correct resident.
• Setup and breakdown functions and events.

Pay: Starting at $17.10 dollars per hour
