Job summary

The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA is seeking a part-time Associate Research/Sensory Lab Technician to support sensory testing and product evaluation. The role will work in both the Technical Center and Sensory Lab, preparing samples, executing tests, and maintaining accurate records to ensure data integrity.

You will collaborate with sensory professionals and product development teams, manage lab inventory, and help ensure safety and quality compliance while contributing to project timelines

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is preferred.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute sensory testing and product evaluation activities to support development, quality, and shelf-life projects.
• Prepare samples, ballots, and schedule tests; document results and ensure compliance with sensory protocols.
• Manage samples, inventory, and laboratory operations; maintain storage, tracking, and equipment; ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate testing activities to align with project timelines and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sensory professionals and cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.
