Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking Sensory Panelists to support daily tasting and panel maintenance at Hershey, PA. You will focus on tasting responsibilities, engage in discussion about sample descriptions, and apply GMP and food safety knowledge.

You will interact with fellow panelists, the panel leader, sensory technician, and Research Scientists leading Descriptive Analysis projects. The role requires strong tasting skills and the ability to work as part of a team on quality-focused tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of sensory testing/work experience preferred.
  • Tasting skills with ability to discern differences in samples (appearance, taste, texture).
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Able to follow directions from group leaders and management.
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily tasting and panel maintenance requirements under supervision.
  • Discuss sample descriptions and apply knowledge of GMPs and Food Safety.
  • Interact with fellow sensory panelists, panel leader, sensory technician and Research Scientists.
