Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a friendly Transportation Services Associate for a part-time role providing safe, reliable resident transportation with a focus on exceptional customer service and meaningful interactions.

You will transport residents to appointments, coordinate schedules, and assist with errands while partnering with staff to ensure smooth operations and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and coworkers.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Positive, patient, and compassionate attitude.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to push/pull 60 pounds, lift 50 pounds, and carry 15 pounds with two hands.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and scheduled destinations.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and communicate with residents and team members.
• Serve as a welcoming ambassador for Dow Rummel Village and provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Assist residents with shopping and banking errands as needed.
• Monitor the condition of community vehicles and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Observe and report resident safety concerns or changes in condition to appropriate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure transportation services run smoothly.
• Provide occasional front desk support, including answering phones and assisting visitors during staff breaks and absences.
• Support organizational goals by performing additional duties as assigned.
