Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II at Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD for a part-time position. You will operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment, perform quality imaging, and support patient care within a team‑oriented environment.

The role requires an ARRT certification, Maryland or Virginia licensure, an associate degree or radiologic technology certificate, and 3+ years of diagnostic radiography experience; BLS is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of experience in diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy (XR/RF) required.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Maryland and/or Virginia, as applicable, required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs according to physician specifications and protocols.
• Maintains patient safety and image quality, labeling, and patient identification; supports invasive procedures with C-Arm and/or O-Arm as needed.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and manages supplies in the assigned area.
• Communicates with patients to obtain history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort.
