Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Radiologic Technology certificate from an agency recognized by USDE/CHEA/METC is required.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy (XR/RF) required.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Maryland and/or Virginia required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs according to physician specifications.
• Maintains patient safety and image quality; ensures proper patient identification and labeling.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and training activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and manages supplies and inventory.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and obtain relevant medical history.
