Job summary

MedStar Health, a leading non-profit health system, seeks a Radiologic Technologist II for Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services with a patient-centered approach.

The incumbent will operate radiology equipment, ensure radiation safety, and support procedures in collaboration with care teams. ARRT certification, MD/VA licensure, and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• Radiologic Technology certificate (METC) from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• Maryland and/or Virginia radiologic licensure required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Three+ years of diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs and protocols.
• Provide diagnostic imaging services adhering to radiation safety and policies; evaluate image quality and label correctly; support invasive procedures with C-Arm/O-Arm as needed.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, quality, and safety; mentor students and staff.
